Arval, a global leader in full service vehicle leasing and new sustainable mobility solutions, announces the appointment of Damien Pellissier as its new international Procurement Director. Based in Arval head offices in Rueil-Malmaison, France, he took up his new role on 1 February 2021.

Damien Pellissier, 58 years old, is a graduate of IFAG (Institut Français de Gestion) and joined Arval in 1991. During his career with the company, he has held several positions. In 1991, he was in charge of launching the agency in Lyon (France) before taking the position as Head of International Development (1999). He was then appointed Director of the Arval French Retail Network (2001), then Head of Eastern Europe (2004) and then Director of the Small & Medium Enterprises business line (2012). More recently, he was the Regional General Manager of Arval Benelux and South Europe, directly supervising 6 Arval entities (Belgium, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Morocco, and Portugal).

In the capacity of Arval Procurement Director, with the role of supervising the company’s strategic sourcing at an international scale, Damien Pellissier reports to François-Xavier Castille, Arval Managing Director, International. Damien Pellissier replaces Andonis Papagiannakopoulos, who has recently been appointed General Manager of Arval in Greece.

“As the new Procurement Director of Arval, Damien will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in the Arval Beyond development plan. He will concentrate on overseeing Arval’s sourcing, an essential mission at a time when the company’s business is evolving from car leasing to also include sustainable mobility. I am fully confident that Damien’s outstanding management skills and deep knowledge of our business will be key to making his career within Arval Procurement a success”, said François-Xavier Castille, Arval Managing Director, International.
