APPOINTMENTS OF DAN BOIANGIU AND ALESSANDRO PIGAZZI
Arval, a global leader in full service vehicle leasing and new sustainable mobility solutions, announces the appointment of Dan Boiangiu as Director of the International Business Office (IBO). Dan Boiangiu replaces Alessandro Pigazzi, promoted Retail Director of Arval Italy.
Dan Boiangiu joined Arval in 2006 and became General Manager of its entity in Romania in 2014, after a successful career as Commercial Director. As the new Director of IBO, he drives a unique, multi-cultural and multi-lingual team of international fleet management experts, to accompany Arval’s 250 large strategic international clients and the future ones.
For over 18 years, the Arval IBO has successfully asserted a valued expertise in designing, optimising and implementing customised fleet strategies at a global scale. The division accounts for a very large share of the total Arval fleet. Besides, thanks to a 25-year successful cooperation between Arval and its partners within the Element-Arval Global Alliance, IBO’s customers can benefit from an extended geographical scale, expert advice, digital tools, global reporting, harmonised service delivery and an account team with a single point of contact.
Dan Boiangiu reports to Bart Beckers, Arval Chief Commercial Officer, and succeeds to Alessandro Pigazzi.
Alessandro Pigazzi, who became Director of Arval International Business Office in 2016, is now Retail Director of Arval Italy, reporting to Stefan Majtan, General Manager of Arval Italy, and joining the company’s Executive Committee. At the head of IBO, Alessandro Pigazzi achieved remarkable results together with his teams, while reinforcing the links and strengths of the Element-Arval Global Alliance, which he was responsible for from an Arval perspective.

These appointments are effective since January 1st, 2021.
