Arval, a major vehicle full-service leasing and mobility solution specialist, announces becoming an official member of smartEn – Smart Energy Europe, the business association integrating the consumer-driven solutions of the clean energy transition. Perfectly aligned with smartEn’s mission, Arval recently announced the creation of Arval Energy, a strategic initiative to develop synergies between mobility and energy markets and promote the use of more sustainable means of mobility and energy. Arval thus becomes the first and only leasing company to join the association.

Arval Energy is a strategic initiative led by Arval’s Executive and Strategy Management, which embarks all Arval’s centres of expertise, as part of its long-term strategy.

Arval’s growth accelerated in 2023, maintaining the strong momentum of previous years.

• Arval, a major vehicle leasing company and mobility solution specialist, announces the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BYD, a world leader in the manufacturing of electric vehicles.
• In pursuit of its goal to support the transition of its clients’ fleets to electric cars, Arval now adds BYD vehicles to its leasing portfolio dedicated to companies and private individuals.
• On top of the MoU, and after having recently announced their partnerships in Brazil, Arval becomes BYD leasing partner in white label in Italy, Spain and Germany.

Arval performed extremely well in 2023: its fleet now comprises 1,701,540 leased vehicles worldwide, representing an organic growth of 6.9% compared with 2022, well above the market average.

Arval, a European leader in full-service leasing and multi-mobility solutions, has entered a strategic collaboration with XXImo a leading payment and mobility platform as well as a Visa Principal member. Through this partnership, XXImo is becoming a Arval key partner in Europe on its Arval Mobility Pass – a simple, yet innovative, solution combining a payment card, an app, and a management portal to simplify corporate mobility for employers and employees alike. The Arval Mobility Pass is integrated with Visa’s advanced payment technology, ensuring wide coverage across all mobility services throughout Europe.

- ZEEKR, premium electric mobility brand, part of GEELY Group, partners with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Arval in Europe to deploy a full and comprehensive range of services to ZEEKR end-customers.
- Relying on BNP Paribas' expertise, the partnership will provide financing, full-service leasing and insurance services covering all aspects of mobility to ZEEKR end-customers.
- This partnership is an integral part of the BNP Paribas Mobility initiative, which brings together all the Group's expertise to support its partners and serve its clients in the field of mobility.
