Mobility solutions are climbing up the corporate agenda at a pace, a fact underlined by the recently-published, latest edition of the Arval Mobility Observatory Barometer. It shows that internationally, more than seven out of 10 companies surveyed have already implemented mobility solutions including use of public transport (35%), ride sharing between employees (34%) and corporate car sharing (28%).

Fleets are more confident about the future than before the pandemic. “They’re increasingly catering to the mobility needs of all employees,” explains Yaël Bennathan, Head of the Arval Mobility Observatory in an exclusive interview with Fleet Europe. And that is just one of many remarkable findings in its Mobility and Fleet Barometer 2021, out today.

Arval Mobility Consulting is being launched as a new answer to rapidly changing corporate mobility needs. It comes as an update of Arval’s successful SMaRT approach (Sustainable Mobility and Responsibility Targets), launched in 2018. Arval Mobility Consulting is a key element of the Arval Beyond strategy within the 360° Mobility offer, a five-year plan designed to enable Arval to become the industry leader in terms of sustainable mobility solutions.

Despite the health crisis and thanks to the quality of its services, its ability to react quickly and seize new opportunities, the resilience of its business and the solidity of the BNP Paribas Group, Arval Group’s leased fleet grew by 6.4% compared to the end of 2019, reaching 1,381,555 vehicles (+7.3% on an average basis in 2020).
