Paris, France - Thursday 10 May 2012. For the past fifteen years and in the frame of the PHH Arval Global Alliance, Arval has collaborated in a strategic partnership with some of the world’s best fleet management organisations. The Alliance has recently expanded its reach to include Australia and New Zealand with the addition of sgfleet, a major provider of fleet management, leasing and salary packaging solutions.
Bringing together major fleet management organisations, the PHH Arval Global Alliance includes Arval in 23 countries on 4 different continents, PHH Arval in North America, and a number of other major organisations in Asia-Pacific (Sumitomo and sgfleet) and Africa (Avis Fleet Services). Together, this strategic partnership meets the fleet management needs of its client base, which operates more than 2 million vehicles in nearly 40 countries.
For more than 20 years, sgfleet has provided fleet Leasing and management solutions. They have more than 300 employees at offices in Sydney, Melbourne Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart.
“With more than 2 million vehicles managed across nearly 40 countries, we are pleased to expand our reach further with the addition of sgfleet,” said Tero Tapala, Sales and Marketing Director at Arval. “We recognise the importance of the Australian and New Zealand markets to our clients, and the addition of sgfleet demonstrates the Alliance’s continued commitment to meet expansion needs of our international customers” said Jeff Smith, Senior Vice President, Cornerstone and International Development for PHH.
“The Alliance, a long-term partnership dating back over 15 years, allows us to satisfy the strategic needs of our multi-national clients,” said Robbie Blau, Chief Executive Officer of sgfleet. “Additionally, we are able to bring together our members, partners and others to ensure we can assist in best in class global and local strategies for our international clients.”
Global Alliance Board Meeting
Sgfleet’s inclusion in the PHH Arval Global alliance was formalised at the Alliance’s Board meeting recently held in Paris, at Arval’s headquarters. Twice a year, Alliance members convene to discuss global fleet solutions, international mobility trends, and joint initiatives such as analytics global reporting.
”Feedback from our global clients indicates that the global view of fleet data provided by Arval Analytics is unique to the fleet industry,” adds Tero Tapala. “The combined effort made by Arval and Alliance members enables our clients to save time and lower their fleet total cost of ownership around the globe.”
